Darl's Declaration in Support of 1st Day Pleading, as text; AutoZone, Red Hat courts informed
Here's the Declaration of Darl C. McBride, Chief Executive Officer, in Support of First Day Pleading [PDF] as text, which will give you a feel for the issues that will come up in bankruptcy court in Delaware starting this morning.

SCO has now filed a Notice of Bankruptcy [PDF] in the AutoZone court, letting the judge and AutoZone know about the filing. I haven't seen any notice from SCO filed in Red Hat, but Red Hat has filed a letter [PDF] letting the court know that Red Hat understands SCO has filed for bankruptcy, and giving the judge an earful all about what has happened in the Novell and IBM cases thanks to Judge Dale Kimball's August 10 ruling. You can almost feel Red Hat saying to the judge in that case, "See? We told you this was bunk." If anyone has time to OCR it for me, I'd appreciate it very much. Oh, and in the list of subsidiaries, McBride lists one named Cattleback Holdings. What in the world is that? It's definitely new. Why would they start up a new subsidiary on the eve of filing for bankruptcy? And ... um... what exactly is it 'holding'? Things that make you go hmm.

Finally, thanks to Erwan, we now have a Bankruptcy Timeline page for your convenience.
